The AWS re/Start program, delivered in partnership with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and Cultus Education, is a free, full-time training program designed to help you start a career in cloud computing.
This program equips unemployed and underemployed youth across Tamil Nadu with in-demand technical skills, including cloud fundamentals, hands-on labs, and real-world scenarios. This program also includes self-development and job-readiness skills to help you thrive.
Program Duration
12-week integrated program combining AWS Cloud Computing Practitioner (CCP) and Cultus Job Readiness
Delivery Mode
AWS CCP : Instructor-led virtual sessions with hands-on simulation labs
Cultus Job Readiness: AI-driven assessment, personalized learning across 30 competencies, expert mentoring, and interview submission
Outcomes
Guaranteed placement for learners who complete CCP certification and achieve a minimum 4-star rating on the Cultus platform
Eligibility
Youth aged 18–35, including underemployed and unemployed individuals
What Will You Learn
Week 1 – Week 7
Focusing on the core IT field for support/operation such as Linux, Network, Security, Python Programming and Databases
Week 7 – Week 9
Focusing on the main core of AWS such as Cloud Economics, Global Infrastructure, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, Cloud Architecting & Security
Week 9 – Week 12
Learn more about AWS services from the operational view such as Tooling-and-Automation, Computing-Servers, Scaling-and-Name-Resolution, Containers-and-Serverless, Networking, & Monitoring-and-Security
Work Skills
Focus on activities that combine soft skills learning with a professional environment – such as tools, processes, and exposure to best practices. An immersive, integrated experience created for students through a blend of technical and behavioral skills that enhances the interview process.
Who is this program for?
- Those seeking entry-level jobs in Cloud and IT Sector
- Holders of a Diploma or Bachelor Degree
- Available for 3.5 hours of e-classroom learning during day or evening from Monday to Saturday
- 1-2 years’ work experience, preferably in IT sector is highly recommended
- Ready to work immediately if offered a job after completing the training
- Willing to relocate, if required
- Have access with the following minimum specifications
- Intel Processor i3/AMD 3, RAM 4GB, 500 GB hard drive
- Internal/external, webcam, mic, speaker
- A Stable Internet Connection
